It all began in April 2016 when we left our dear family at 10 am to reach the Netherlands. It took 5 hours with 2 stops !
We arrived at 4:30 pm at Steenwijck railstation, and the family came to meet us at last. We were happy to see our exchange studients
again. Some people celebrated Laura's birthday and actually we had parties every evening.
We rode our bikes everywhere. We took
part to a competition to realize a project and we realized how differently Dutch students work.
We spent a wole day visiting an
island (Texel). For the last day, we went to Amsterdam and we visited a museum and we could see a famous painting
The Milkmaid by Vermeer.
During the afternoon we had free-time to visit the city and buy presents for our families.
It was an amazing and unforgettable week.:):):):):) !!!!!!
Thanks to the exchange, we did a lot of things. We visited a lot of places, there were beautiful landscapes (Bled, Planica, Ljubljana).
It was amazing to discover new persons, their culture (Bled castle, music, Kremšnita cake), meet new friends, our exchange students and their
families which were very nice.
Our project was to talk about unemployement in different countries and how to manage wastes. We went actually to a recycling centre.
We also did hiking in the mountains, it was very exiting. We visited a typical house where we saw traditionnal costumes.
It was a really good week, we learnt a lot of things, we improved our english and we had fun thanks to Mr Zardet and Ms Valls.
